Our Modern Day Slavery Statement

Modern Day Slavery

This document serves as the modern slavery and human trafficking statement of Ivylynn Support and Care for the year ending December 2024.

At Ivylynn Support and Care, we are dedicated to preventing any form of modern slavery, human trafficking, or forced and compulsory labour within our operations and supply chains. We adopt a strict zero-tolerance policy against any actions that exploit individuals or infringe upon their freedom for personal or commercial benefit.

Our company policies mirror our commitment to high standards in combating modern slavery, not just within our organisation but also among our suppliers. This includes educating our staff on recognising signs of modern slavery and providing guidance on where to seek help and advice.

We conduct thorough checks to verify that potential employees are eligible to work in the UK and are not subjected to human trafficking or coerced labour before confirming their employment. Similarly, contractors and agency staff are also required to pass eligibility checks before they start working with us.

To monitor and mitigate risks, we have incorporated modern slavery into our governance and risk management framework. This process entails identifying, assessing, and reviewing potential risks in our business and supply chains.

Any identified risks are thoroughly investigated and addressed with due diligence. This includes taking all necessary steps to address concerns, up to and including terminating relationships with suppliers if needed.

We invest in compulsory training for senior staff to recognize and understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains. Our training programs and communication channels aim to equip all employees with the necessary knowledge and awareness of our Anti-slavery policies.

Ivylynn Support and Care promotes a culture of openness and support, encouraging employees to report concerns in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment, ensuring they can do so without fear of retaliation.

We remain steadfast in our commitment to eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking from our business and supply chains. As part of our corporate and social responsibility, we continue to enhance and strengthen our safeguards, providing sufficient resources, training, and investment to effectively address, mitigate, and rectify potential risks.
